Prat Jogani
After spending 15 successful years in Fortune 100 companies where Prat held several leadership positions in analytical and mathematical functions, she decided to open a Mathnasium center to inspire children in STEM fields. Where Math skills are largely seen as being “born with”, her center aims at changing this belief by identifying gaps in a child’s knowledge and showing them alternative constructs to nurture these skills. Prat’s center focuses on the “how” and not just the “what” of Math, and is committed to solidifying underlying principles for a students’ long run success vs. just getting through the next test. Prat earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Case Western Reserve University in 2002. With Mathnasium, she has found her dream career to continue working with numbers while helping children build a better, brighter future.

All students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn.
Using assessment-based insights, we will create a personalized learning plan for each student. Our detailed plan takes students step-by-step from where they are to where they need to go.
Once their personalized learning plan is ready and the pace of weekly math sessions established, students can start working with their math tutor in-center or by logging into live online sessions with them.

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
