I recommend Nick and the Mathnasium of South Kensington team without hesitation. I have very high expectations of my children in math, and I want them to have fun and love it! This team gets perfect marks on both. We started by taking just our daughter, seven, who began below grade level, and in three months is now nearly finished with the next grade up! She cannot wait to go to Mathnasium, after she finishes some of her afterschool activities. Is this because of the culture, or because of the prizes? Probably both, but she loves it and is learning a ton! We brought my five-year-old as well because his sister was having such a great experience. He loves it too! More tactically, the policies are quite flexible with a wonderful ability to drop in, the people are extraordinarily nice, and I am yet to see the staff not well matched to the students there - good ratio always - and the kids seem to somehow always be more focused than I would expect possible for a group of largely elementary schoolers! Overall, I feel super, super grateful to have discovered Nick and this team.

I joined Mathnasium in Year 10 and have enjoyed the learning atmosphere. The tutors are friendly and explain maths in a way that finally makes sense to me which is helping me progress as I approach my GCSEs.

My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves Mathnasium. The vibe is so welcoming and relaxed. She loves going every time and the learning seems to come so much more naturally to her here because the environment is so nurturing and encouraging. I wish there was one for all subjects!

My daughter is 9 and just completed her first assessment after receiving a few months teaching. The results have been very encouraging and indicate she has improved by one academic year in a few months. I would say before attending Kip she was performing at an acceptable level for her age, I wanted her to reach her full potential as I believe this will make things easier for her in school. I have been impressed by the consistency of the teaching she has received and the professional manner in which Kip is run, communication is good and I feel my views are listened to and acted upon. A point which I see as vital to a childs development is their confidence, this has improved to no end, again I believe this is largely down to the gentle way in which she has been taught and encouraged. I should have enrolled her earlier!! keep up the good work and thanks for all you do I'm sure it's a challenging roll for you all. PS I'm sure some of my grammar could be picked apart however I do not have time to attend myself!

We have 3 children who have been enrolled at Mathnasium for over a month. When we arrived in the UK, we made the sad observation that the level of maths in France was about 4 years lower. They are in year 9, year 8 and year 5. Our children always go to school with pleasure, serenity and a desire to learn and progress. In just one month, their level has clearly improved. They feel more confident and more fluent in class. The progress is really amazing. Their skills workbook is structured to follow their path, their progress and their pace. Mathnasium is a learning centre that puts the child at the centre of their learning, makes them feel confident and builds strong skills. Mathnasium is a very serious, rigorous centre.

When first proposed to my 7 (son) and 11 (daughter) year olds, additional maths was greeted with expected moaning. After one session, they were obsessed and have demanded to go multiple times every week. Not only are Jess, Carrie and the team giving them a fun and enjoyable learning environment, but the quality of the feedback from them is superb. Their maths has come on immensely in a short space of time. Jess is brilliant, and having tutors in the team like Carrie makes this an easy recommendation.

I contacted mathsnasium as my grandaughter was struggling at school and I hoped that she would increase her confidence with some help. She has been attending mathsnasium now for a couple of months and has become more confident and willing to engage in maths games and activities. She loves going and even asked if she could go every day ! The reward scheme where she earns stars to complete cards certainly helps !! I feel mathsnasium is better than going to a private tutor for her as she sees it as a fun place to go rather than an intense learning environment.
